Time to start thinking about 2013
Well as Boxing Day is coming to a end and I find myself thinking about what 2013 will bring.
2012 has been a tough year for my family but its been a great year for me discovering my love for health and fitness, which has made me realise after all these years in the work force that I have finally found what I want to do. So next year I'll be going back to school to Study Cert.3 in health & fitness. I can not wait for that journey to begin.
Also in 2013 my oldest son Mason will start Prep, so thats very exciting time ahead for him. He cannot wait, its all he has been talking about this year as most of his kindy friends went off to school and he felt left behind, because being born in the second half of the year meant he had to wait that extra year. So another 4 weeks and the little man will be off to school (daddy can't wait to have some 1 on 1 time with our youngest son Callum).
I'm also going to start learning yoga in January which is sometime I've wanted to do for some time now. The yoga im going to be learning is Ashtanga. So much to look forward to in these comings months.
Im hoping 2013 is going to bring a work change for me as I've now been working for the same company for 15yrs (which is half my life) So I look forward to finding something new within the fitness industry .
So Christmas was a blast and the boys had so much fun. Here are some photos from the big day.
Mason and Callum waiting for Daddy to wake so they could unwrap there pressies Santa brought them, they also got a trampoline but as it was a wet Xmas for us it will have to be built once the ground dries out.
this is my dad and my boy Mason enjoying the new hot wheels track Santa brought him, they we having such a blast playing with it.
oh course this is me doing my last 25 squats of the @fitness food and Style instagram challenge #xmas25squats
So I hope Santa was kind to you all and you have a fit and healthy new year.

Happy Xmas Eve
Happy Xmas Eve to all........
So today was one of the busiest day's of the year on the Brumby's Calendar and it was flat out all day. Feeling very tired after such a long long day working. I was so glad to finally get home and hang out with my hubby and boys.
We did some last minute Christmas food shopping for the big day tomorrow. Lots of fresh yummy food on the table.....Mmmmm
So the little boys went off to bed without too much trouble with all the excitement of Santa coming I thought they would have put up more of a fight as they seemed so full of beans tonight. But once we knew they were sound alseep Hubby and I put on our Santa hats and got a wrapping.
Can't wait to see there happy faces tomorrow morning and looking forward to sharing the love over our family Christmas lunch.
Merry Christmas and a Fit and Healthy New Year!!!! 2013 will be a great year

2 days till Christmas
So its 2 days till Christmas and I'm thinking about what I still have to organize, and with what will no doubt be a busy day at work tomorrow I'm wondering where I'll find the time to finish off the little things.
We still haven't really organized anything for Christmas Day with the family as half of them are away this year, its not really feeling like Xmas. My Hubby wants to just stay at home with our boys, so I'm thinking a small family lunch is in order.
Its been raining on and off all day today which put a damper on our plans to build the boys trampoline they are getting for Christmas. I do welcome the rain as we really were in need of some but I do hope it dries out tomorrow. Its funny I remember last year our oldest boy got a new bike off Santa and it rained Christmas day and for the next few days after so It was a few days till he got to ride it. Fingers and toes are crossed for this Christmas.
So with it being a rainy day I had to work out a Exercise routine to do inside today. So I got out my skipping rope I was given for my birthday last week and did about 20mins skipping, really got the heart racing. Such a wonderful cardio exercise :) I also got on the mat and did a tummy routine.
I also did a some dancing this morning and worked in my #xmas25squats challenge I've been doing from Instagram @fitnessfoodandstyle the wonderful Dani, Check out her wonderful blog here www.fitnessfoodandstyle.blogspot.com.au
Working Christmas eve tomorrow I just hope all the crazies stay at home and we have nothing but happy customers would want their Christmas Bread.
Till then Merry Christmas
