Results after week 1 of my abtasticapril challenge

So it's been a week since I started my #abtasticapril #challenge and these are my results. I haven't done too bad since I wasnt 100% on my eating and drinking, but i did cut back quite alot on the nasty stuff. My exercise was good and I did my ab work everyday and also did weight training 5 out of 7 days and also I love that I did no cardio work at all and still lost 2kgs 😄 cms were ok but I would have liked a little more, but just some motivation to work harder this week 😆 and I'm very happy with the 1cm gain on my bicep flexed 💪 as I'm working very hard at building muscle. Happy with a 4cm hip loss too but weird I gain 1cm on the waist but oh well. I can't wait to work harder this week and see even better results 😆💪❤

Sunday morning markets for freshness

This morning the boys and I went to our local #markets and got some yummy fresh fruit 😋 they love nothing better than going to the Sunday markets and helping mummy pick our their favourite fruit. Today we got #pineapple #bananas #strawberries #grapes #pears #pinkladyapples #kale #mushrooms #mandarins 😋 teaching your children from a very young age about what are the right choices to make when fueling their bodies. And they'll grow up with the knowledge of healthy living and be able to share that knowledge, hopefully with their families.

No Self control

So I'm finding it so hard to have self control over what I eat.  I know what I'm eating and drinking is really bad for me, but why can't I stop self harming as I would call it.  I'm working so hard at the gym to build my muscle mass and working on my cardio little by little.  Yet everyday time and time again, I reach for that chocolate bar or that bag of chips or I'll feel like a coke or even worst I'll be eating savories or sweets from the bakery.  Knowing exactly what I'm doing and that I'm undoing all my hard work.  I know your thinking oh she is un-happy or there is so other deep reason she eats bad food.  But truth is there is no reason why I do this, I'm very happy in my life and I haven't had some horrible childhood experience that I'm covering up.  I really just have no self control, I have a craving and I give in and eat/drink whatever I'm craving.  And then I feel so guilty and angry at myself for doing so.  There used to be a time when I wouldn't feel like this and I would feel so satisfied by giving into my cravings, but those days are long gone.  I really think it's because I now have a better understanding about what food is good for me and what isn't.  This really annoys me as I know by doing this its holding me back from having the body I really desire.

The dream body/idea we all have that we would like our body to look like, for me a the moment It's Michelle Bridges the trainer from Australia's Biggest loser TV show.
So how can I stop myself from eating the bad food or drinking Coke or energy drinks ????

How did you overcome your bad eating habits ???  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I really hope that my job at the bakery is one of the main reasons I have no self control, because I must say when I'm at home I can control myself better because I haven't brought the any junk that I like into the house then it isn't there to eat it.  I'm really bad at work, seeing and smelling all that delicious food just makes me want to eat it even when Im not hungry :(  I try and try every day to stay strong and time and time again I give in to my cravings.

I'm starting to wonder if its just all mental and habit, from years and years and years of just eating the same food.  Like everything with life it all becomes routine and habit.  Get up get ready for work, go to work, smell the fresh hot bread products, eat the fresh hot bread products and I do this 5 days a week.  Naughty naughty.  Im really hoping that by the end of the year when I have finished my cert.3 in fitness that I get a job in the gym instrudy and keep away for the bakeries that I can control myself more and finally give all this junk stuff up and loose the post baby belly once and for all.  OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND.  But really will this be the answer?  probalby not, I really need to practise my self control over and over again and try not to give in to easily. GOTTA STAY STRONG!

Well its Saturday afternoon now and my weekend finally begins, not work for two days.  So time to practise that SELF CONTROL.

happy weekend to you all
